Stars fall to the earth, flames dance in the cool mountains! On August 10th, the opening ceremony and the torch night of the 8th Liangshan Yi Ethnic Torch Festival of 2023 were held in Xichang! This is the first time in 8 years that the entire Liangshan region has held a series of torch festival activities, and it is also the longest-lasting and most extensive cultural and tourism promotion event. 

    As the most grand traditional festival of the Yi ethnic group, the Torch Festival has been passed down for over a thousand years and is known as 'the first chapter of Chinese ethnic customs'. It has been listed in the first batch of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative List. During the festival, people dress up and go out together, holding hands, singing loudly around the blazing flames and dancing the Dabei dance. The passionate ethnic customs instantly reach their peak.

    On the night of the opening ceremony, a spectacular launching ceremony was held at the Torch Square in Xichang City. Fireworks soared into the sky, igniting the fire pits with the light of the stars. Instantly, sparks flew everywhere and flames danced. The entire opening ceremony was filled with a dense display of fireworks, with dazzling colors. With the assistance of nearly a thousand LS-315 and LS-315B devices from DeSheng, the performance on the stage became more three-dimensional, with pure colors and RGBW mixed color effects, making the stage more colorful and the performance more vivid and captivating. 

    It is reported that at the opening ceremony site, DeSheng Lighting's LS-315B and LS-315 row-shaped color lights were set up to outline the stage design, enhance the lively atmosphere of the venue, and create different performance atmospheres.
